The warning is contained in a statement signed by the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the senator, Bashir Rabe Mani and e-mailed to The Renaissance in Lagos on Friday.

Mani quoted Wamakko as giving the warning while addressing a crowd of political supporters at his Gawon Nama residence in Sokoto on arrival from Abuja.

The senator was speaking against the backdrop of some people who allegedly “bent on sowing seeds of discord between him and the state governor, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal”.

Wamakko, who is also the Chairman, Senate Committee on Basic and Secondary Education, said that the governor and himself, “are one and the same, contrary to the machinations of some doubting Thomases’’.

According to him, the duo have the same vision and mission to develop Sokoto State to an enviable status in the country and “only the Almighty God knows what is between us’’.

“I and Gov. Aminu Tambuwal are one and the same and we have the same vision and mission.

“Nothing is between us other than mutual respect and the love for one another as well as the love for our dear state and Nigeria in general.

“The respect my younger brother, the governor is according me is unparalleled.

“I am truly and sincerely very grateful to him for this and I am highly cherishing his enviable gestures,’’ the former governor, who now represents the Sokoto Central at the Senate said.
