The University of Lagos Muslim Alumni Association (ULMA) will hold its 28th annual congress and networking session on Sunday, Oct. 8 at the Islamic Centre Hall in the institution’s Central Mosque.
The event will feature empowerment programme for the Muslim Alumni and graduating students of the citadel of learning.
The theme of the congress, which is ““Small Scale Business Opportunities and Financial Options”, will be discussed by Dr Jubril Salaudeen, an expert in finance and business management and the Chief Operating Officer of Citiserve Limited.
There will also be a health talk on “Cancer Prevention Awareness” to be delivered by Dr Habeeb Mohammed.
President of the association, Alhaji Akeem Sola Oladokun, will preside over the Congress, during which the executives will render the account of their stewardship in the past one year.
The Annual Congress is among several capacities enhancing initiatives, held yearly by the Alumni body.
