TMC organises workshop for ITP workers

The National Secretariat of The Muslim Congress (TMC) on Sunday organised a one day workshop for all workers at the forthcoming 1437 National Islamic Training Programme (NITP), holding in three locations across the country.


The NITP will hold between Thursday, Dec. 24 and Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 simultaneously in all the locations.

The workshop was held at the Dawah Centre along Oshodi-Apapa Expressway.

IMG_20151129_125156In a lecture titled: Effective Management of Human and Material Resources, a former Amir of TMC, Engineer AbdulGaniyy Ibn Saadiq, charged participants to renew their intention of going to the ITP to work for Allah Ta’ala.

He charged every worker to discharge his responsibilities as assigned by the organisers to for the success of the camp and for the realisation of the purpose of the camp.

“You are bound to face challenges during the camping. But you do not away from challenges.

“Rather, you should always think of how to overcome the challenges.

“If you are a unit head, certainly you will have others persons working with you. You must learn how to delegate responsibilities to others for collective success of assignments,” Ibn Sadiq said.


In his remarks, an elder of the TMC, Sheikh Abdulfattah Thanni, charged workers of the congress to see themselves in their respective role as a leadership assignment, which they will account for on the day of judgement.

Also speaking, the chairman of theNITP seminar, Mr Mikhail Animasahun, spoke on the responsibilities of various units

Delegates at the workshop were drawn from all the three zones of South West I, South West II, South South and North.
