Tinubu gets credit for Lagos regeneration

The current transformation of Lagos State is a result of the vision and strategic planning of the National leader of the All Progressives Congress and a former governor of the State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Lagos State’s present status as one of the most sought after cities in Africa is a reflection of the successes of the former Governor.

President Muhammadu Buhari said this at the ninth annual colloquium held in Lagos as part of activities to mark the 65th Birthday anniversary of one of Nigeria’s finest leaders.

The President specifically applauded Tinubu and his associates for land reclamation in sections of Ikoyi and Victoria Island which he said has now transformed Lagos to one of the most sought-after cities in Africa.

The Bola Tinubu Colloquium themed “make it in Nigeria: use what we make and make what we use,” focuses on the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit in Nigeria.

The goal is to create a space where ideas and people relevant to creating innovative but everyday solutions in Nigeria can share knowledge, experiences and proffer solutions to the challenges facing the country.
