The leadership of the House of Representatives has pledged to ensure adequate funding for the Nigerian Military to ensure a quick end to the Boko Haram scourge.
Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, the House Leader, gave the assurance while speaking on issues bordering on the state of the nation in Abuja.
He decried recent attacks in the Northern part of the country by the terrorist group and pledged the House commitment to fighting insurgency.
“The house will champion the cause, the party will champion the cause; we will look at areas such as tightening our laws whilst not infringing on the rights of Nigerians as enshrined in the Constitution.
“On the issue of appropriation, we will more or less throw money at the problem because it is a money issue among other things,” the leader assured.
He called for more cooperation among African countries and the international community to help fight the Boko Haram menace.
