Osinbajo, Aregbesola, others expected at national discourse on food security

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and former governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola are among the dignitaries expected to grace the National Discourse next month in Lagos.

The Renaissance reports that the national discourse is being planned by ‘The Companion’.

It is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 14 at the Main Auditorium of the University of Lagos.

The theme of the national discussion is “Food Security: Unleashing Nigeria’s Natural Potential For Self Sufficiency”.

The event is the fourth in the series by “The Companion”, an association of Muslim men in business and the professions.

The programme is expected to the chaired by Aregbesola while Bice President Isinbajo will deliver the keynote address.

Prof. Fola Lasisi, who is the President, Nigerian Academy of Engineering and pioneer Vice Chancellor , University of Uyo is the Guest Speaker while Otunba Femi Oke, Chairman, All Farmers Association of Nigeria (Lagos State Chapter) and Prof.  Lateen Sanni, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) will be discussants at the event.
