“The Event Service/Creative industry will definitely be the wheel of Osun citizen’s empowerment and the driver of her economy, particularly if this sector can be well structured and its potentials fully exploited. “Here in Osun State, survey reveals that over ten billion Naira is expended annually within the various business lines in this sector of the economy, out of this staggering spending, 50% of this estimated amount is given away to service providers/product producers outside the state due to the lack of adequate structure and a veritable platform that promotes the use of service providers/producers and also a platform where reputable and trusted service providers within these various sectors can easily be sourced.
“Similarly, made in Osun Award/Campaign will also serve as a veritable platform where the best local produce/service providers are celebrated and promoted over imported products/services from other states.
“Notable Osun Indigenes and Personalities across the state will be branded as the Echoes of the campaign.
“While the Osun Event Industry Conference will converge the leading brands in the event sector of our economy to aid networking and serve as a specialized training platform that will enhance optimal business performance, the Event Industry Expo is a 3-day event, that will avail event stakeholders within the state a rare opportunity to exhibit their creativity, goods and services to the world.
