Young people from Africa and the middle east will converge in Abuja, Nigeria, next month to discuss matters relating to the development of the leadership potentials of youths for future roles in nation-building.

The Abuja event organised by AIESEC, an international youth organisation seeks to proffer lasting solutions to challenges facing the youth population in Africa and Gulf countries.
Speaking at a media parley on the event, the President, AIESEC Nigeria, Okafor Charles harps on the need to help youths develop leadership potentials.
“For us in AIESEC, we believe so much in the ability of young people to make a difference.
“We need to start having conversations about how young people can be a part of the solution to the challenges facing countries in the developing world,” Charles said.
In the same vein, the regional entity Development Manager, middle east and Africa, Ayowale Olaneye expressed the group’s commitment to achieving its core objective, which is peace and the fulfilment of potentials of young people.
AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-run organisation that provides young people with leadership development, cross-cultural global internships and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe.
