The Osun West by-election senatorial aspirants under Peoples Democratic Party,PDP,Otunba Nurudeen Adeleke has charged all the Muslims across the globe to continue to toll a line of peace and not to forget the tenent and pillars of Islam as the fasting period is over.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by his Director of Campaign,Mr Dele Adeleke on behalf on him and was made available to newsmen in Osogbo.
He enjoined Muslims not to negate the lesson taught during Ramadan and by adhering strictly with the lessons in all their endeavors.
He also admonished Muslims to use the spiritual power endowed with in the holy month to pray for the economic sustainability of the country and particularly Osun state.
“Let us continue to reflect the learnt virtues of love for our neighbours and compassion for the needy and less privileged amongst us. For only with our hearts of compassion, service and self sacrifice shall continue to please the Almighty and remain under the mercies of Allah, the Almighty. He added
He however prayed that the mercies that was received in this month would continue to be with Muslim faithful saying Allah would give the faithful strength to avoid sins that have been washed away in the blessed month of Ramadan
