President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday afternoon received the report by the Tripartite Committee on the Review of National Minimum Wage, led by Ms Amaopuoruba Amal I. Pepple at the State House, Abuja.
The Committee on Monday came up with a new Minimum Wage, which the president is supposed to make public on Tuesday.
The new review halted the planned strike by the Organised Labour which was supposed to kick off today.
The committee, which recommended N30,000 as the new national minimum wage, also submitted a draft bill that will be sent to the National Assembly.
It was also gathered that the Presidency had demanded the proceedings of the negotiation team when labour embarked on strike immediately the Federal Government suspended the negotiation meeting.
It was gathered that the document also contained the resolution in which N30,000 was agreed as the proposed new minimum wage.
