Buhari inaugurates two attack helicopters in Kaduna

President Muhammadu Buhari at the weekend inaugurated two new Mi35 fighter helicopters at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) base in Kaduna.

The helicopters, procured from Russian and delivered to Nigeria in April, have night operational capacity.

Buhari performed the inauguration during the 54th-anniversary celebration of NAF.

He reiterated the resolve of his administration to take Nigeria to the next level of security.

The President, who Represented by the Minister of Defense, Muhammad Mansur Dan-Ali, said NAF has undergone several developmental stages, adding that the government had, over the years, acquired various weapons to enable NAF effectively perform its role.
