The Nigerian Army troops of Operation Lafia Dole said it neutralised suspected Boko Haram terrorising Gabwasa village in Guzamala Local Government Area of Borno State while on clearance operation on Wednesday.
Brig-Gen. Texas Chukwu, the Director Army Public Relations, stated this on the Nigerian Army’s official Twitter Handle on Friday.
According to him, four members of the terrorists were neutralised during the operation.
Items recovered include five motorcycles, three motorcycle engines, five motorcycle tubes, two motorcycle tyres, 250 litres of petrol, two bags of flour, one bag of rice and 100 loaves of bread.
Also confiscated from the insurgent group are 60 containers of five litres vegetable oil, four cartons of Klin detergent, some quantity of nail, phone chargers, extension box, stabiliser and some quantity of drugs.
