Aregbesola, Mumuni mourn Tinubu’s son

 Gov. Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State has described as shocking, the death of Jide Tinubu, son of the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Aregbesola noted that the deceased was a young man with promising future, who was snatched away by the icy hands of death at his prime.
In a statement by his Media Adviser, Mr. Sola Fasure,  Aregbesola who received the news of Jide’s death with great shock and grief, noted that Jide’s sudden demise is very painful.
“I received the sad news of the death of Jide Tinubu, the son of the former governor of Lagos State and the Party’s National Leader, Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with great shock and grief.
“It is very sad to lose a child or any loved one for that matter at his or her prime. Jide’s death is a blow too many to his family, both extended and immediate.
“This indeed, is a very sad moment we all share with our great leader. My heartfelt condolence goes to the entire Tinubu family,” he said.
Aregbesola, on behalf of himself, the government and the people of Osun,  offered condolences to Tinubu and prayed that Almighty Allah bestows on the family, the fortitude to bear the loss, even as he prayed Allah to grant the late Jide eternal rest.
Also, the Aare Jagunmade 1 of Lagos, Ambassador Abayomi Nurain Mumuni has described the death of Jide Tinubu as a great loss not only to the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu family but to Nigeria.
In his condolence message issued on Wednesday, Ambassador Mumuni extolled the virtues of the legal luminary for his sterling contributions to the noble profession and his alma mater.
According to him, “Barrister Jide, Asiwaju’s first son, though young, lived a life worthy of emulation for the younger generations and the yet unborn ones. His death is a colossal loss to Nigeria and Nigerians.
“He was a complete gentleman, friend of the people, and most importantly, a man who showed the true status of his father, Jagaban Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose record of service to the nation can not be forgotten”.
Mumuni, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) also described Jide as a true Nigerian whose love for his fatherland  could never be negotiated an inch.
While consoling his immediate family, Ambassador Mumuni also commiserated with the good people of Lagos State, the Lagos State Government and all Nigerians over the great loss, and prayed to Allah  to grant Barrister Jide Tinubu eternal rest and admit him into Al-Janatul Firdaos.
